This Research Shows That Most People Spray Perfumes Before Taking A Shower

My uncle had graduated from the university for years and couldn't find a job, after about 4years he eventually got one in a bank. 2 weeks later, he told me a story that i found funny then, but thinking back now, the story was very profound!


He said in one of their morning meetings at the bank, they had drawn up a list of their major debtors and they began praying for them, they prayed that none of them would die, and that the businesses they had invested in would yield the increase that would enable the bank make its money back...i laughed my head off for a few seconds, how is that even possible? they are praying in banks now?

But then, this morning i realised that the banking system is smarter than most people, you see, they understand one thing..."Death Pays All Debts"

The bank wouldn't have been praying if they knew the collateral they had was good enough to settle the debt, they knew that a major loss was on the cards if anything happened to the borrowers. The devil is just like the bank, he is trying his best to keep you from dying to sin, because he knows that you will finally be free from your addictions and the habits that are holding you captive.


Romans 6:6-7 says "...We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ, we were set free from the power of sin"

This verse is so powerful...you don't have to die physically, Jesus Christ has already done that for you, but by believing in what He has done, you can join Him in His death and resurrection. 

Romans 6:8 "And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with Him"

You need to die to your old life, so that you can be Born Again into a new life with Christ. A life free from guilt and shame, a life of confidence to approach your situation with the assurance that you already have victory!


You can now start a relationship with Him today without any worry about your past, or what you are going to do in future, ALL debts have already been taken care of. But just like any relationship, you need to get to know each other first...Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ"

I would encourage you to set a time and place to just read a chapter a day from the book of John as your first date with Jesus!!! 😁
